Asked us to leave. The fort definitely needs upwork.

Last remaining building from what was the New Fort, later served as Marine Museum. Two outdoor exhibits relocated, loco to Toronto Railway Museum and tug Ned Hanlan to Hanlan's Pt on Toronto Islands.

Great and fun! Just like the military but just somewhat less strict! I love it! Does take time for the uniform to come in lol.

Stanley Barracks
Built in 1841, Stanley Barracks was built to replace Fort York as the Toronto garrison. Stanley Barracks originally consisted of six main buildings around a parade square. Between 1951 and 1953, five of the buildings were demolished, leaving only the Officers’ Quarters. The Officers’ Quarters housed the Marine Museum from 1959 until 1998.

Under construction. The entire building is occupied by some hotel management, and very tersely asked us to leave. Did not leave us with any information on how to contact Fort York, or the Historical Board. Just plainly asked us to leave.
