My event was yesterday and I just couldn’t wait to post a review. This banquet hall is ABSOLUTELY amazing. They really took care of my guests and were there for every single thing we requested.We need safety pins and they went out of their way to find it. My father in law is a diabetic and wanted Splenda for his coffee and the team went out of their way to get it for us. The waitresses constantly asked my husband and I if we were ok and needed anything at all. Paula was absolutely amazing and made sure we got everything we needed for our guests.Abdullah (the owner) went above and beyond. He help me set up everything and got me every last minute request I had to make my party perfect. He was super organized from the moment we started planning the event months ago.My guests and I were super happy and we had a great time. The food was absolutely amazing and I do not understand the low reviews on this place. Seems like people can never just have enough. Some of the low star reviews were years ago and this owner took over so I’m sure you won’t regret your experience if you book now.Abdullah and team, we cannot thank you enough!! Absolutely amazing!!

First time in this hall,and I was very impressed. It can accommodate many people very comfortably. Beautiful building.

My brother's wedding was at this venue yesterday, can't say enough. The manager Syed promised us a good time and hospitality and we got what we promised. I highly recommend this place for a small/short/sweet wedding. The food was amazing, our guests loved the food and decorations of the venue, it was fabulous. Everyone really enjoyed their time here! Highly recommended. And the workers/staff were amazing, we didn't have to tell them anything, great hospitality, they were fast and efficient. Overall great time.

I recently hosted my Stag and Doe event at the Dorchester Optimist Hall, and in order to book the space I had to provide a security deposit (for damages) that as stated in the contract was to only be cashed in IF there were any damages to the property. Within 2 days of providing the security deposit the owner had already cashed in the security deposit, which at that point he himself had breached his own contract. We confronted him about that and he simply said Oh

Seriously, if you're planning a wedding and thinking of Southwood you are 100% on point. This venue is absolutely GORGEOUS, especially with the St. Norbert Ruins near by. You are going to have an incredible time. The staff is all very friendly and the food served at the reception was delicious. We can't wait to photograph another wedding here because of how beautiful it is here.

Attended a reception for a funeral today. Lovely room, good food and service.

Great food with food prices! We went during Father's day so it was more busy so service was a bit slow (not their fault!) But kept reminding our waitress to bring us water 2 times. Recommend this spot!

My husband and I just had our dream wedding at Eagles Nest over the past weekend. Our wedding was more than we could have ever hoped for, Eagles Nest was the most amazing venue.Not only is the property absolutely stunning, the entire team, staff, food was excellent. I am so grateful we had our wedding at this venue it was perfect. Such a seamless experience working with everyone. I am still getting complements about how amazing the food was. Thank you Eagles Nest for being awesome, and hosting our wedding, I will remember it forever!
