Pictou Island Wooden Tents
Unique experience.... Wendy and Lorne are generous, creative and engaging hosts. The vineyard is beautiful and the wine , Ice Boat white, in particular, is very tasty. We applaud and admire your effort in creating this special place for all to enjoy. Betty and Henry Muggah , Baddeck, on board Seraph

Gros Morne West Camp and R.V.
Very friendly owner, stayed there 3 nights while hiking around Gros Morne. Some bugs but not bad. Amazing shower for a campsite. Great firewood and great overall price!

It just seemed like a“Money grab” to us. Being charged extra money for the right type of coins for the laundry , very expensive washer and dryers , $5.00 each load and each dry. In the rules … you will be charged for this and charged for that, any minor offensive’s , it sounded like a boarding school. They don’t want you to plug in your surge protector in the panel because of arcing,???? if done correctly this does not happen. All amenities are advertised as open, pool, store, Rec. Center, when in fact they are closed , I wonder if the price goes up when they are actually open?Like I said , scared of being charged a extra fee for any small inconvenience for them .

Little Creek Ranch
The venue is absolutely beautiful, there’s no question about that.. but the service and involvement of Deb and her team was more than we ever could’ve asked for. From day one they were there answering all of our questions and giving suggestions; there was always open communication with quick responses. They are constantly working to expand their business by adding more amenities to the venue ground and adding decor to their collection to match any wedding aesthetic. They are very hands on and involved in making sure everything runs smoothly on your event weekend. We cannot recommend this venue enough, seriously 5 stars is too little. You can rest assured that they will do anything in their power to make sure your wedding is not just a day.. it’s an experience of a lifetime. Dream weddings truly are made here.

Camper's Haven Campground & Cottages
This place was horrible! Me and a friend went to the gift shop to see what they had and it was locked you had to ring the doorbell and wait for her to get out of her house to answer the door. After looking around a little while the host said If you are not going to buy anything I'm going to ask you to leave" That was just one of many terrible happenings. I was using the pool skimmer to clean the pool that may I say was very dirty there was literal snot in the pool as well as many many bugs then the other owner rolled up on his lawnmower and started yelling on us for playing with the skimmer we said we weren't playing it with it we were using it for its intended purpose it was out on display like they wanted the guests to use it he told us"if you wanted it cleaned to go to the office and ask for the maintenance people to clean it" I don't think we should have to ask I think they should just clean it!"

Another fantastic visit to the dining room! Today was Christmas Eve brunch and it will become our new tradition. The food was sooooo good (it always is). Just when you think you’ve tasted everything at a breakfast buffet, Chef Chris throws in cold smoked salmon and lobster eggs Benedict - need we say more? AMAZING!!!! They drive out, the atmosphere in the dining room, the view of the lake and the food ALWAYS make for a memorable visit!!

The Happy Camper Campground RV
We stayed one night at the end of the season. Neil was very friendly and met us at the gate and showed us to our site. We didn’t use the public washrooms but looked in there and the washroom/shower area was very clean. Our site faced a field and was ever so peaceful. Water and electricity at site was great and the sani-dump area had a saniflush and was clean and odour-free. There was only one other seasonal camper in the campground with us. Gate security was a nice feature. Only visitors by our site were deer and sparrows.Cannot say enough positive things about our stay. It was restful and perfect.

Scott's Family Campground
I recently had a disappointing camping experience at a campground that provided poor service and exhibited discriminatory practices. The staff lacked professionalism and showed a lack of attentiveness towards customers. Additionally, instances of discrimination by the management were observed, which is unacceptable. I do not recommend this campground due to their subpar service and discriminatory behavior. Look for other campgrounds that prioritize inclusivity and excellent service. (Would be zero stars if possible).
