Casa Galicia
We randomly looked for a tapas spot and came across Casa Galicia. It was a gem of a place to find. We had tapas, paella, and sopa de mariscos. All the dishes were fantastic, the place is good value and we got a flamenco show to go along with it all. Special mention to our server Gino too who made the night. Would definitely recommend.

Casa Galicia
We were extremely disappointed by the food here. We (2 people) spent 200 dollars on an assortment tapas, paella and sangria only to receive Cod nuggets that were deeply reminiscent of the frozen McCains brand, squid that was actually quite good, and chorizo that so over cooked it became a mouth exercise to chew. The meat in our paella was similarly completely overcooked to the point of being tough to cut with our rice being completely raw in some spots. The service was also quite strange as the waiter never left us alone and would often speak to us about his stand up comedy routine, all the while almost spilling our sangria on us. The ambiance of this place is truly its saving grace with a flamenco guitar playing livening up a well decorated Spanish taverna style restaurant. All in all, completely overpriced restaurant for extremely underwhelming food and service.

Perhaps one of the most delightful, exciting, and wholesome dining experiences I have had. It was my first time at Casa Galicia and we came on a Saturday at 8:30 as a party of 3. The physical ambiance alone placed you in a sense of comfort which was complimented by the authentic Spanish charm which surrounded. Once seated, it was not long until we were pleasantly surprised by the mystifying live sounds of the Spanish guitar, which lead us into the dining experience. As we shared our platters, we found ourselves indulging in new taste pallets synchronous to the beautiful waves of sentiment which swelled from the stage by the flamenco performance. The service was immaculate and balanced the performance perfectly. Our charismatic server, Gino, provided us with the finest details and recommendations for our meal, along with his genuine spirit which none of us will forget. This is a place where one who appreciates the fine Spanish cuisine and culture will never be disappointed, and for those who know nothing of it will fall in love.

I have been meaning to write this review for a while. I LOVED THIS PLACE. I spent my birthday here and it was absolutely amazing. Just the decoration made me feel like I was no longer in Montreal but a Spanish fairytale. The food is exquisite, the flamenco show is extraordinary and the service is top notch. We were a large party (12 people) and they managed to accommodate us in a very comfortable settee. They were always attentive to if we needed anything and even took the initiative to sing happy birthday to me with the whole crew and very lively. I will be looking for any possible excuse to go back. I can't recommend this place enough.

It was our first time at Casa Galicia and we liked it a lot. The atmosphere is pleasant, very cozy and everything is very tasty, I just think that the chicken in the Paella was very cooked and a little dry, but I liked the rest a lot. The house sangria is very good. Good flamenco show

Casa Galicia
The first time I went there was 2018 summer, and the best memory was the Octopus Salad, it was so good. Unfortunately, the Octopus Salad I had tonight was really disappointing, because the octopus didn't taste fresh, like thawed octopus, there was a lot of water in the octopus meat. The cod nuggets, squid/shrimps plancha and paella were ok, but the octopus salad as an appetizer was such a disappointment and not worth the high price.

Nice, cozy and probably the best Spanish restaurant in Montreal. Amazing food (Gazpacho and sea bass are to die for!) and superb service. Great wine menu as well.Highly recommend!
