There is a coach who is a bit fat in a black winter coat who teach can skate lessons, her attitude is really bad i think. They changed the Rink but didnt tell the parents in advance, so Most of the toddlers are late for the lesson but they wonn't add a few minutes to make up 30 mins for the lesson. The coach only said no because they put the changes on the tv screen above. I said who knows you have to read the tv screen everytime we come over to have lesson. Its their fault to change the rink but she didnt even say sorry.Her bad altitude is not the first time! They should fire this woman

Leo is very patient, professional and caring coach. My Son had never been so hard-working and dedicated to one single sport activity before he met Leo. Leo's passion on speed skating set great example for kid. That's all I want for my son in an extracurricular program.

Locker room didn't get hot water, locker room was pretty stinky.

I play gokey there every friday night and i personally think it is great. Shoutout to the arena man

Mayfield Figure Skating Club has been a great club for our daughter until she moved up to the Intermediate Level a few months ago. Our concerns were brought to the President of the Board of Directors and was met with a defensive attitude. The President does not adhere to Skate Canada and Safe Sport’s policies and excluded my daughter and her friend from an opportunity that was offered to other skaters at her level. The President even sent a separate e-mail to my daughter and her friend telling them to leave the rink after their skating assessment. The other Intermediate skaters were sent a different e-mail inviting them to remain at the rink. When we called the President to ask why this happened, she became defensive and hung up. As the President of the Board, it is her responsibility to provide responses to members and not to disrespect them that way. It is quite sad that an adult would feel it appropriate to deliberately exclude two skaters from the rest of the group. If you’re looking for a welcoming and inclusive club, perhaps look elsewhere.
