Hakka restaurant

I've gotten delicious takeout from Shinwa before but this was the first time we've dined in and boy oh boy it was extremely busy on a Wednesday night and that is because the food is really good and the employees are also nice. One lady in particular who took everyone's order was very sharp, proactive and knowledgeable. We really liked her! Atmosphere is okay, is what it is for the plaza so don't expect anything fancy but it works. I would not recommend tap water from any restaurants in those plazas as you can smell the chlorine is pretty high and it tastes awful so I just bring my bottled water before I go in but they have juice and pop etc. The food we got were the Chicken Wontons, Wings, Manchurian Soup with Chicken and Shrimp, House Fried Rice with no Peas, Salt & Pepper Fish and Beef Ho Fen. Everything was delicious and nothing was greasy. They also have condiments on each table to enhance your meal experience and you know I got into that chili sauce. Yum! Thank you for a delicious meal Shinwa. We'll be back!!

I got the Lamb Biryani and it was delicious!! A good amount of lamb chunks and the flavour of the rice was very tasty. It lasted me about 2 dinner portions and 1 smaller lunch portion with some sides of my own. Highly recommend!!

No acknowledgment of customerFood was late 35 mins.Food is usually goodbut customer service is appalling.Sometimes the pakora are a real miss but the mains are a decent quality and quantity. Spicy but not overly spicy.

Fitoor is absolutely wonderful!The food, first of all, is very tasty! We ordered Veg Manchurian Dry, Railway Veg Cutlet, Adrakhi Dhaniya Paneer, Dal Makhani, Garlic Naan, and Plain Roti. The Veg Manchurian was very delicious, but the Railway Veg Cutlet was our favorite appetizer since it was full of flavors and different textures. The side dishes were also great! The Adrakhi Dhaniya Paneer was okay because it did not taste that outstandinng, and the paneer was a bit rubbery. I did however love the scrumptious, fresh Dal Makhani which I definitely need more of! The Garlic Naans were soft, and tasty. The Plain Roti was also very good. We also ordered Kesar-Pista Jamun for dessert, which was well balanced in terms of flavor, but it could have been a bit softer. The quantities of all the food is also good, and the prices are decent.I really loved the ambience of Fitoor. The interior of the restaurant is pretty well laid out, and good looking. The tables, chairs, cutlery, utensils, and bathrooms are all clean. The service is good, and though the restaurant was crowded, our food arrived fairly quickly, and hot and fresh.Overall, this is a restaurant I recommend to anyone and everyone for its authentic Indian cuisine, good service, ambience, and cleanliness!

Can not go wrong with these prices and quality! Best Hakka food, insane flavours. Hot and sour soup is homey and authentic, I am SUCH a fan. Garlic beef is seasoned to perfection, and cooked perfectly. Everything goes together great and it keeps me coming back for more. Great experience every time!

It was the first time I had Indian food in Toronto, to be honest, I would never thought about having Indian in Canada, since there are a good number of indians restaurants in Hong Kong, and they are quite authentic according to the Indian KOL in Hong Kong.Having Indian in Toronto probably not the first thing comes to my mind but it was quite an experience. Gotta say the menu was substantial, plenty of choices, even tho quite a few were involved their butter chicken. Dishes in the menu were in their Indian name, that sounds authentic, however, the food itself was quite fusion to suit the Westerners palate. Butter Chicken, kinda like the Chicken Tikka Masala in England, and they claimed they are the best in town. I wouldn't go that far to say they are the best I have ever had, but it was definitely not bad at all.Since the dishes here in the Great White North usually pretty big and we don't have a big appetite, so 5 of us ordered two platters, a butter chicken poutine, butter chicken with naan to share and had a few beers.The appetizer platter was great, there were samosas, onion bahjis etc. They all taste pretty good. Nothing too spicy, definitely suitable for any novice on hot stuffs.The main sharing platter was more substantial, lots of meaty goodness. The lamb shish kebab was my favourite out of those, it hasn't got that strong lamby, gamey taste, even my partner who isn't a fan of lamb had a good few of those. The coriander chicken was succulent and juicy. The shrimp was too salty to my liking, and the cashew chicken drumsticks were quite bland. All in all, they were all quite salty and couldn't taste much different between them, but don't get me wrong, they were tasty, if they could tune down on salt a little bit that would be even better. There was a spicy minty dip came with the platter, it was refreshing and hot spicy at the same time, that really up my alley, not to mention their cheetah mango beer was, refreshing, not too sweet and lingering with the scent of mango, excellent drink to pair with their dishes, must try.

Excellent food and service. There are plenty of vegetarian options. There was a bit of a wait for the food to come out, but it was slightly busy

Been going here for years, the owner is very friendly, food is tasty probably once the dishes tasted bland.

This location gives more rice than the Warden location, which is nice. More companies should fill the box with rice. It looks cheap when it's half full. Good Bombay chicken here. The chilli chicken here was off though. Food quality is comparable to the Warden location.

Underrated place , good food . Had hakka noodles and manchurian take out for evening snacks . No sittingand place is in old plaza . But worth the food
