My first time trying tamales so I have no real point of reference but they were delicious! The kind woman at the counter lead me through what I should order and how to eat it. Awesome experience, definitely putting these tamales on rotation!The place also doubles as a specialty grocer, great to note for any home cooks who can’t find the right dried chilies at conventional grocery stores.

Frelard Tamales Bellingham
It’s hard to find healthy food late at night in Bellingham (and I’m saying this as someone who likes to go to sleep fairly early!), and Frelard ticks the boxes. Delicious, gluten-free, and a saviour after sunset yoga down at the park. Pickled veggies on the side are amazing too!

Popped in got a latte, crepe and 3 cheese buns. Crepe was delicious, very flavorful. Latte was rich and creamy. The coffee had a very smooth taste. And the cheese buns were fluffy and very cheesy.

This place offers some great authentic Mexican street food such as Tamales, Tacos etc. What I really liked about this place is that food doesn't feel greasy/heavy (as with lots of other Mexican" places around the town) and the ingredients are actually good quality. Service is friendly and prices are very reasonable. Do check them out!"

Best food in the city! Tapioca crepes are heavenly, I could have one every day! Everything made with the highest quality ingredients, sourced locally. So much love goes in to the hand made goodies. Delicious, nutritious and supports a healthy community. Highly recommend!

The quality of their product has fallen off portion size very inconsistent, tastes old and dry ,they say you get what you pay for someone needs to let these people know that for what they charge, tamales should be delicious, sad this place was the king of tamales. Time to rebuild

Authentic New Mexican tamales! Made me feel at home and the owner was so nice! My favorite was the vegetarian queso tamale with green chile on top. Very happy to see so many vegetarian and vegan options. Will be back soon to try the enchiladas!

I ordered an 11 inch burrito for $8 bucks and it was huge! I rarely see so much good food for cheap but this place has great deals. The taste was great too!

New Mexico Tamale Company
When I want a taste of food like my grandma in Albuquerque used to make I come to Dora at the tamale company because it's like I'm in NM again. I got the 1 tamale plate with spicy beans, rice and sopapillas. Everything was so delicious. It always feels like family when I go in because Dora knows me and strikes a conversation and she just treats everyone like family anyways. 100% would recommend to locals.
