Traditional costume club

I had the opportunity to work for a show with Dinesh himself, for which I had to visit his designer studio a couple of times. It was such a clean and well organized space. They have a complete alteration station and a tidy changing room. Such a humble mother and son duo, no one would think that such celebrities can be so humble and make their clients feel on top of the world. I definitely recommend @dineshkramsey for the amazing styles, colours and upto date fashion trends. His interaction with clients is always one on one so that there is no misunderstanding of any sort. Highly recommended!!

I was very disappointed with my rental with Victoria costume. I went for a Queen of Hearts Costume for a wedding. The costume they had did not fit. So they gave me another dress from another costume. I had given them my budget beforehand. Not only did they charge me for the full costume that I did not use. (I used the red dress from it. that's it) They also charged me for all the accessories to make up the Queen of Hearts costume. Making my costume almost a $100 more to my budget. So they charged me for 2 costumes. I don't recommend this place. That's not right.

Dinesh made my bridal outfit, as well as my sister's outfit for my wedding. He was amazing to work with, very patient, and by far surpassed our expectations. I would certainly recommend him!

Great costume shop. Very friendly. Would recommend calling first and tell them what your looking for so when you arrive at the store they'll have a changing room with the costume your looking for all set up.

Darshini's beginner Bollywood classes have been a great way to learn dance, in a very fun, warm and welcoming environment!

This is, by far, the best place to get a costume on Vancouver Island.The selection that Victoria Costumes has is mind blowing: the shop takes up the entire upper floor of the building and is simply stuffed with Costumes of every imaginable variety, plus their accessories.My girlfriend and I went there recently in 2016 to make selections for an outdoor Victorian party that a friend was hosting in a nearby park.We were blown away by the service and selection: we had to make reservations and when we arrived, we had a selection of costumes as well as accessories all laid out in the change area for us to choose from.The staff were extremely attentive and knowledgeable, able to help us zero in on the exact look we were searching for without feeling like we were being crowded into a choice. While the rental was not inexpensive by any means, the quality of the costumes meant that we felt very satisfied with what we were receiving for the price. It also meant that we were quite careful not to damage the costumes in any way, naturally!We definitely go back again, though probably not more than once or twice a year for special events. If you feel that You have to have the best costume in the room were at the party, look no further than this place for your needs.

Dinesh is the most talented and humble celebrity designer I've ever met. His designs are stunning, and I adore them! The best part is that he understands the requirement and suggests an appropriate outfit from his collection. He has a large and lovely collection of lehengas, sarees, gowns, and Indo-western outfits from which I could choose. I remember telling him what kind of outfit I wanted to wear to a dance performance, and he gave me a lehenga that was exactly what I wanted. So grateful to him!

Darshini is an amazingly talented performer who has a way of teaching that brings joy to every moment of learning! It’s a wonderful way to stay healthy and an opportunity to get close to your kids!!!

Huge selection of costumes of many types and friendly, helpful staff. A really fun place--loved that they take care of all the cleaning for the costumes afterward, too!
