Gondola lift station

Very nice place, it has a movie theater, giftshop and 2 restaurants. The walking board to the weather stations has amazing views and it is a good place to spend family time and couple time

It's a great ride to get a glimpse of Banff Town and it's surrounding Rocky Mountains. And it's a different story and experience all season long. They have so much to offer from Sky Bistro if you just want to have a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy the 360 scenic view from the top. I love coming back here to hike up the easy sulphur mountain trail and delight myself for a free ride down. It never gets old how I feel being up there.

So you paid the cash and made it up here. On the patio, witness the mirrored bear, look around the beautiful 360 degree sights, and relax on the many benches and beach chairs around the firepits. There’s a large gift shop, a small café for quick coffee, and a kitchen restaurant if you are starving and want to splurge.

What a view! This one should be on everyone's list of things to do while visiting Banff! You can pay to ride the Gondola, or hike to the top, but it was well worth the cost to see this beautiful place! The peak also contained some great history and other information about the area. Don't miss heading to the peak!

This is where the Gondola drops you. The fourth floor is where you definitely want to be. Breathtaking views of the Sulphur Mountain. They have gas fireplace with sofas where people can sit, enjoy the view and also keep themselves warm because even on a sunny summer day, it can be a bit chilling up there at that height and that much wind. There's also a bar with some limited food menu. However, the third floor has a full service restaurant and a self serve restaurant. There's also a souvenir shop on the second floor (if I remember correctly).One may also not want to miss the mini theater where they show a film about the Banff. The show happens at regular intervals. While the Gondola allows only two hours on the top, if you're able to get the time extended, one can easily spend more time here.

If you want to go I suggest going early. Absolutely breathtaking views. Not enough words can describe it. A complete must see

A must go! It is very warm because of the fireplaces on the top floor. The views are amazing. There is restaurant here with reasonable price. Parking could be difficult you either park along the road or be patient to find some one leaving.

The views from the top are nothing short of spectacular. It does get pretty cold up there, because windchill is a factor.

Fun ride up Sulphur Mountain, worth the money if you don't want to hike. View from the top is beautiful! If possible buy your gondola ticket ahead of time.

Amazing journey to the top of the mountain treats you to wonderful 360 degree views of the valleys below and for miles. Can walk around outside on the boardwalk and take lots of photos. Inside is a cafe and shops plus some history and photos of the area, head up early if it’s a lovely day as it will be busy!!
