Public university

Student residence buildings have very poor WiFi service. Connections are continually dropped. In addition, breakers continually jump! This is very frustrating for students especially after they were charged such a high premium for rent! poor service.

I did an Intro to QuickBooks Online course with Capilano University in 2020 and it was very good. The instructor had an extensive knowledge of QuickBooks Online, was very well prepared for class, and very thorough in her teaching. She went above and beyond, giving us extra tips for using QBO, which have been very helpful since. The exercises and assignments were well designed, and appropriate for using a QBO student account where you can only have one company.A very well designed and delivered course.

Nice grounds in the summer. Very limited food options, the Tim Hortons in here closes for the weekends and the summer months (roughly May-August). No food places within walking distance, unless you go over to Sunnybrook Hostpital, which is a 15 minute walk.

Great uni! The chapel is very cool!

Overall good education and academic experience here (specifically in Computer Science). Found professors and TAs supportive of the students as well as the staff for admin stuff. Facilities were nice for study and some of them fairly new. Campus life is not very big but it is here if that is your thing. I also enjoyed that it was a somewhat calm city which definitely helped my focus here i think and to stick to a routine. Definitely a great place if youre looking for somewhere to get your degrees and buckle down to excel. Would recommend any potential students to come here if they find a program for them and have that aforementioned purpose in mind.

Great place to walk trails and spend an afternoon exploring the woods in the area. Every year, they have the Acadian Festival, which consists of a parade, lots of games, vendors, and their locally famous BBQ chicken and Râpure. If you ever want to see what it means to be Acadian. Being an Acadian myself, I highly recommend visiting the area.

It is a place of learning so there many people of different nationalities there to learn and make friends.

Functional, Practical & Full of History.

I love the new look of the main Glendon building with its vibrant blue doors, refreshed design and painted signalisation. Feels fresh and modern. I enjoyed the French performance of the Théâtre La Tangente at the Théâtre Glendon. As usual, Duncan Appleton and his crew createsl magic in this space.
