Do NOT use this crisis line. There is a few good ones but this is not one of them. Repeated myself about 6 times because she just wanted to keep clarifying" which is brutally frustrating saying the same things over and over when you're already at a low point. I got so frustrated I just told her to leave me alone and hung up. I have used crisis lines for YEARS. Many of them

i just called the crisis line because I have a huge dilemma. I knew she couldn't advise me what to do and she stated that several times. So, I asked if she could suggest ways that I, or anyone, could make a decision on really big dilemma's. She said she couldn't advise me on that either. (what??!!!) so I asked what education she had and she said she was not there to talk about herself. so I asked if she was quailed and she said yes. I said thank you anyway and hung up. I still don't know how to go about resolving my dilemma. not the decision but the important steps to reaching my dilemma which every crisis counsellor should know.

Response was slow in receiving email info. I can only assume they were quite busy. Other than that, it's a 5 star. If only the actual referred services were as easily available from the extreme back log. More financial support is needed to speed up services for grieving parent's etc

Not helpful

Garbage. Completely unhelpful. You tell them your problems 4 times and they still ask what you are calling for. Now imagine ordering your big mac and the burger flipper asks if you have the buns and lettuce ready for him

They stick to a script.
