Traditional Stitches
This is a store in a home in Bearspaw, Alberta just northwest of Calgary. They have an amazing amount of patterns, kits and embroidery thread. They also have a website so you can order products on line that you can pick up or have delivered. The staff are extremely helpful. I will definitely be returning for more supplies.

Stitching Bits and Bobs
A one-star rating is entirely too good. I placed an order on October 18 and received no follow up. I called on October 24 and only got voicemail, no one returned my call. I called him on October 30. and receive voicemail, no one returned my call. October 30 I sent an email, no response. On October 31 I sent a second email canceling my order. No response; however, they did charge my card.

The Makehouse Co-op (sewing store & classes)
A gem of a place in downtown Victoria. This is the spot to go to for sewing workshops, clothing swaps and a host of maker workshop, plus their retail store is awesome! The best selection of vintage buttons in Victoria by far! Also Jenny who owns it is a sweetheart. Well worth the visit whether you're local or a visitor.
