THIS IS NOT A HOSPITAL.If you need emergency medical attention do not go there. You will be turned away. It's an old folks homeAlso be careful, the security team is extremely incompetent.

Came here due to the fact my son had a knee injury while playing rugby in the PRCs. Arrived at 1100 and checked in and told the wait was about an hour, seems reasonable given the handful of people waiting. Now it's 1600 and the student doctor is seeing him for the second time. I forgot to mention that he showed up 45 minutes ago. He walked in and said he may have a tear but has to review the x-ray, so off he goes. The medical system, as we know, is already broken, so why weren't the results read and verified prior to the first visit? Also, bear in mind this is not a trauma hospital, which triage is very important. If this is the way they are training medical professionals at a world-renowned university, God help us."I'm not sure where you can go in the lower mainland to get proper treatment when you are hurt

I cannot and will never be able to express enough how very grateful and satisfied I (and my wife) are about the services she has received and all the personnel we have dealt with. From the doctors to the nurses, support workers and all others we came across with. They are all very pleasant, understanding, available and professional. Many, many thanks for your excellent care and personnality.

I would like to thank all the nurses in Emerg who were assisting me on Sunday when I was brought in. Also the nurses and Dr. McMillan who attended to me for the following days when I was admitted into room 202.Your warmth and exceptional care was amazing. Also to Tara a huge thank you for taking such good care of me while being transported to Sudbury hospital. Your care and thoughtfulness went above and beyond and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️Thank you ladies even being in the hospital you made my stay comforting. ❤️Thank youMaureen Bell.

Proposed location of the new hospital
Anywhere is still far from someone. I think this is the perfect spot when it comes to spreading future development. My only concern is that the roads are single lane which might need to be changed to double lane for faster moment of emergency vehicles are normal traffic.

I give a one star. That goes to the few staff that provide compassionate care without bias to your situation.Too many negative, neglectful situations over the years to share. One I will. 65 yr old dad in Palliative Care. Esophageal cancer. I helped him to the bathroom. Watched over him. Dad became very weak and I cradled him under his arms and pulled the bathroom bell. After 15 minutes, after I seated him back onto the toilet, I was able to walk him back to his bed. I went to the nurses station. Only to find 5 of them laughing. I asked, did you not hear the bell!?" " I want to see your charge nurse".Spoke to charge nurse. She wasn't impressed with her staff.Dad died 2 days later. Too busy my a@@. Time to laugh n chat
