Creamiest ice cream and friendliest cows ever!! Staff were also lovely. I would definitely recommend passing by if you’re in salmon arm, especially if you have kids!

We had a great time checking out the farm! We had a tour of the milking process, and found out lots of new things about dairy farming. Thank you to the Huigen family for showing and teaching us all about your cows!!!

They ship and receive milk products here. The place is a friendly fast place environment.

Grassroots Dairy is a lovely spot near Salmon Arm off the main hwy. Cool shady picnic area on rich green grass. Goats and chickens to amuse you and wonderful cheeses and many other products to sample and buy. May I recommend the Mighty Mazuda! Friendly folks and great place to stock up on cheese, picnic and recharge away from the hustle of downtown Salmon Arm. They are a Harvest Host too for those with a membership!

Feel sorry for your HORSES!! - 20 degree weather close to -30 with windchill and this place keeps them outside in the cold day and night in an open field where the wind is blowing, everyday i drive by this place twice and poor things are out there trying to hide from the blowing wind behind few pieces of wood . i also drive by horse Stalls on Hamilton road and i never see horses out there in the cold ONLY on nice days and they all have coats and seems like this place cares about their horses, London Dairy Farm doesnt look like it does.. Right now is -23 and -37 windchill and they were sitting out there when i drove by on my way home few hours ago. Put these animals inside a barn like other people do on cold winter days like today!!!

I haven't been here, but I just wanted to say thanks Jerry for posting the video showing how farmers have to dump milk when they're over quota. Very sad. In fact I make a living by processing food that would be wasted otherwise, by processing beef on site, from down / injured animals.
